Arconic Financial Analyst in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania
Primary Purpose of the job:
The Financial Analyst will provide analysis and support on a range of strategic and tactical analysis
Forecast support for monthly forecasts and annual plans
Support DI (Productivity, Cost Reduction) initiatives for the Cranberry facility in order to maximize and prioritize projects and actions related to continuous improvement initiative
Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
Provide support in preparation of data to generate Daily, Monthly, Quarterly reporting
Perform ad-hoc reporting/analysis and special projects as requested
Major Activities/Key Challenges:
Drive automation, standardization, and streamlining by creating new reports and processes.
Analyze and investigate benchmark opportunities where costs are out of line vs. other facilities or world class operations.
Identify trends and make recommendations based on findings for risks and opportunities identified for the business
Connect internal and external information with the ability to improve overall market intelligence and make recommendations based on findings
Conduct product-line analysis in order to optimize product portfolio and improve profitability
Provide administrative and financial support to productivity and cash improvement initiatives in the DI project tracking system.
Works closely with the accounting team during month-end close to ensure accurate and timely business results.
Complete ASAT testing for variance-related objectives.
Provide coaching and support to non-financial employees
Provide support to the Controller
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 6 months financial analysis experience.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
2 years' financial analysis experience.
Experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
