Position Description:

  • Use of appropriate equipment/tools(Press, Pill Heater, Belt Sander, Anneal Bake Oven, Ring Press, CNC Machines, Burr Gun, Ultra Max, Hand Tools)

  • Form and finish cores per Activity instruction and product criteria

  • Load anneal bake setters per product criteria, if required

  • Load and unload anneal bake oven, if required

  • Understanding of loading and operation of CNC machines

  • Responsible for visual and dimensional quality of cores

  • Visually inspect cores for unacceptable defects per the product criteria or activity instruction

  • Correctly wand lot travelers and scrap after each tray and take cores to kiln truck

  • Fill out OEE sheets

  • Maintain clean work area and perform TPM per schedule

  • Perform pre-shift die inspection and TPM checklist.

  • Observe safety policies and regulations

  • Maintain high attendance record

  • Basic understanding of the use of dial calipers, micrometers and pin gauges

  • Computer literacy

  • Understand gauge setup to trouble shoot gauge issues

  • Interpret readings to specifications

  • Basic mathematics/fractions

  • All applicants should possess a CRC (Career Readiness Certificate) or be willing to achieve this certificate.

  • Ability to work 2nd, 3rd or weekend 12 hour shifts

  • Applicant must be a US citizen or permanent resident, no sponsorship is available for this position
