Responsible for daily financial analysis to support Manufacturing, Operations, and Management decisions that will support the plant in reaching its financial goals.
Assist in reviewing the monthly balance sheet and profit-and-loss statements
Assist with monthly closing and production of financial statements to guarantee timely reporting
Reviews financial statements to ensure that the information reported properly reflects the company’s financial position
Assist with budget preparation and income forecasting
Accumulate data for the preparation of the monthly financial review with corporate finance
Assist with daily reporting to corporate finance
Assist data programmer with maintaining the daily spending database (load forecast information monthly and review daily)
Ensure compliance to financial aspects of internal controls
Challenge the Manufacturing Managers and Plant Manager to ensure forecast goals are met.
Prepares, verifies, and controls the entering of journal entries to the general ledger
Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports that measures accuracy and slow moving.
Attend start up meetings as the finance advisor and business partner, be prepared with job level questions and guidance to ensure goals are achieved
Understand manufacturing variances and speak with Plant Manager and Manufacturing Managers providing direction for process changes
Understand and take ownership of data, providing guidance on which levers to pull
Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited instituion
2 Years related work experience in a manufacturing environment
