Machinist, Entry Level Pin Wrap Operator Huck Max, 2nd Shift
Arconic Fastening Systems Tucson Operations is looking for an entry level Machinist for our Huck Max Pin Wrapping Operation. The entry level position is responsible for monitoring of various production machines in support of producing fastener components.

Responsible for production of parts meeting print and specification requirements
Performs the monitoring of production machines, such as headers, rollers, drillers, assembly machines, trimmers, screw machines, etc.
Assists with inspecting components to the proper customer and production specifications.
Utilizes a personal computer to input statistical process control (SPC data.)
Assists other operators with production activities such as component weight counting, lubing parts, changing oil machines, parts movement between locations, etc.
Performs 5-S duties on a regular basis as necessary.
Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Helps to ensure that quality and standards for the department are adhered to and maintained.
Assumes other special activities and responsibilities from time to time as required.
Adheres to Arconic EH&S, Quality, Continuous Improvements and other Company Policies.

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution

- Prefer previous hands on experience using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers, and reading blueprints.
