This lead position is responsible for the analysis, development, implementation, and support of new and existing systems and technologies in the data warehousing and business intelligence discipline. Position accountabilities will include leading a small team of analysts/developers as well as performing hands-on development, support, and project work.
This role will require broad business process understanding in a manufacturing environment and significant interaction with business functional and IT resources making effective communication skills essential. The qualified candidate must be a self-starter capable of managing medium-large sized projects within an established budget and time line.
Essential responsibilities include:
Interact with business process and system owners to understand systems requirements and associated value.
Analyze, design, develop, and implement data warehousing and business intelligence solutions with appropriate technologies that meet the requirements and value statements.
Effectively utilize appropriate project management methodologies/techniques to execute assignments and manage projects to schedule and budget.
Supervision of a small team, including managing day-to-day assignments, evaluating performance, and identifying/executing team development and training needs.
Execute work in compliance with all appropriate audit and regulatory requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, computer engineering or equivalent experience from an accredited university.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience developing, deploying, and enhancing business applications and systems.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Strong interpersonal skills. Able to interact effectively with both business functional and IS customers and colleagues.
Solid understanding and practical application of systems analysis, design, and programming techniques. Advanced knowledge of SQL and the Microsoft BI stack essential. Experience with Azure and Power BI.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively present material to a wide range of audiences from end-users to executives.
Self-starter with experience managing medium-large projects within set budget and timeline.
Able to provide work direction for small to medium sized teams and hold accountability for the execution of similarly sized projects and systems.
