This opening is with Arconic Engineered Structures – a world-class producer of titanium aero ingots and mill products—and a leader in highly-engineered, multi-material structures for aircraft. This first shift position will be located in Plant 5 Ti-Cast Operation in Whitehall, MI. The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates the timely processing of product at inter-plant and outplant operations.

  • Maintain clean/accurate WIP inventories for daily, weekly and monthly ship schedules.

  • Help coordinate and manage on time deliveries by utilizing/following the attainment system.

  • Learn and support key Planning functions in support of the Supple Chain Leader.

  • Learn and support key Shipping Department functions to serve as a backup when required.

  • Physical inventory Lead.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

  • Two years continuous work experience.

  • Must have experience in one or more of the following: Production control (expediting), planning, shipping, OHCMS support

  • Successfully meet the standardized TABE testing requirements. If applicant possesses a minimum of an associate degree, testing is not required.

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree preferred

  • Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel
